— About the Poet
Phathizwe Sono is an inspirational poet, author, RE5 tutor and performer. He was born in Mpumalanga Province, in a small village called Phiva, and completed his BCom Accounting degree at the University of Limpopo — where he fell in love with poetry.
He has performed at The Innovation Hub, the South African State Theatre and for Mpumalanga Arts and Culture. He is the Founder and Director of The Born Great Movement, a company focusing on inspiring greatness through book publishing, art and fashion.
